"The Queen's Crown," Alle Mims' first pilot, has advanced to the quarterfinalist round in the 2021 WeScreenplay College Student Competition. The competition is designed to help bridge the gap from college to career in the screen writing industry.
"The Queen's Crown" is a 30 min comedy pilot. It features Queen Ayahsa, the single ruler of the Sister Isles, who has been faced with a distressing ultimatum: get married within the year, or lose your crown. Now, she must work with her council and best friend to find a king to rule beside her before she turns 30, but will she be able to set aside her fantasy of marrying for love in order to save her family's name?
