WeScreenplay has announced the 2021 winners of their College Screenwriting Competition and after several rounds of deliberation and feedback, "The Queen's Crown" has been named a winner.
"We are thrilled to announce these incredible winners who will participate in WeScreenplay’s College Lab. The lab will include a day of exclusive meetings with working writers, managers, and development executives. We know you have your craft down — we want you to hear directly from industry professionals about various aspects of the BUSINESS of screenwriting. Past WeScreenplay lab participants have gone on to sign with literary representation, option their projects to producers, and staff on television shows.
We also want to acknowledge all of the strong scripts that did not advance. If your script is not on this list, it does not at all mean that our judges didn’t enjoy the read – in fact, we’re confident some of the scripts not advancing will bring their writers success in the very near future.
